Eight Travel Essentials

Here are my 8 favourite products that I’m using RIGHT NOW and are perfect for travel.

Face halo:

This handy little heaven sent cloth literally takes all your makeup off without any additional product and it actually works, just add water! Genius! Added bonus is that they’re a steal AND fantastic for the environment. You’ll be wondering what you’ve been doing without it all this time.

Kevin Aucoin Mascara:

I wore this mascara for a full day, then jumped in the ocean and it didn’t run all over my face or turn me into a soggy panda. It just peels off your eyelashes in a tube without tearing them out so you can’t even tell it was on in the first place. Gives that “natural beauty, I’m just blessed with dark long eyelashes” vibe without the fuss. I like to layer mine with a thickening mascara because I have spider legs as eyelashes but If you had to pick only one mascara for travel, let it be this one.

Face spray:

I use this constantly on the plane to keep my peachy cheeks from getting too dry. Once I arrive at my destination I like to pop it in the fridge for a cool spray to use throughout the day or whilst I’m at the beach or pool. Super refreshing and hydrating so your skin will thank you for it.

Country road handbag:

Everybody needs a cross body handbag for travel to keep your fancy stuff safe. That is unless you’re into the bumbag fad which was tragically resurrected from the eighties, where it should have stayed…

I love this one because it’s beautiful quality leather that will stand the test of time/travel with a zip to keep everything in and it’s a great size and shape. It fits my purse, passport, camera, sunscreen, snacks etc. Super versatile and great to use on the plane (for essentials) with your bigger carry on.

Oscar Wiley sunglasses:

They’re just great quality, beautiful frames with cool case AND they do prescription sunglasses which means blind bats (like myself) can see past their own noses in the sun. Win win!

Midas shoes:

I’m calling it: THESE ARE THE PERFECT TRAVEL SHOE! They are really light and pack into your bag easily, they’re versatile and go with pretty much every outfit and they’re next level comfortable. The flexible soft sole makes them the perfect walking shoe and the soft leather keeps you from getting blisters or cramped toes. There are also little holes in the top which make them breathable and keep your feet from overheating. I’m actually obsessed and also have them in black. Get them in every colour, immediately.

The Source Bulk Foods drink bottle:

This one is great for me at the moment because it’s easy to clean, easy to pop lemon slices in and does leak on the plane like my other favourite sippy top bottle, plus it’s very pretty and reasonably priced. Get yourself a peanut bliss ball at The Source while you’re at it.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue tinted SPF 30 moisturiser:

It’s light, fluffy, complexion correcting (thank god) and SPF. It’s a must for that “make-up free” holiday look and of course holiday sun safe (I don’t want wrinkles) skin. I wear “spice8” but if you go to Mecca they can give you a sample and match a colour to your skin tone.

You need it.

Let me know if you love them all as much as I do!
